Which Airports are included in this service?
We can arrange your airport transfer for Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton
and City Airport.
How long does the journey take from the airport to Central Sofia?
It usually takes no longer than 90 minutes from any of the Sofia Airports
except Sofia City Airport which generally takes less than 60 minutes. These
times are only a guide, and depend upon traffic levels and your exact destination.

How much does the service cost?
Airport Transfers costs vary depending on which airport you arrive at. On
the booking form you will be asked to choose a service option - each service
option is individually priced and you can see that price in the list.
Why does the arrival transfers cost more than the departure transfers?
When your driver picks you up from the airport there is a parking charge
(paid by the driver) and also a waiting time (your driver will have to wait
for you at the Information desk). The return transfer is much simpler as
no extra costs are incurred and there is no waiting time - that is the reason
for a slightly lower rate.
How much would it cost if I used an airport taxi instead of your service?
This varies from airport to airport, you would pay approx. 20%-30% more
than our rates.

If I book a car service to pick me up from the aiport, do I also have
to book a car to take me back to the airport at the end of my stay?
No, you are not obliged in any way to use our service for both parts of
your journey. This is entirely your choice, you may leave the departure
form blank if you wish. Note: all other parts of form are required.

How do I pay for my transfer?
Your transfer must be paid in cash €Euro sterling directly to the driver
when you reach your destination. Unfortunately it is not possible to pay
using a credit card or any other means.
Will my driver accept foreign currency?
Unfortunately not, they are only able to accept €Euro sterling.
Do I have to tip my driver?
This is your choice and you are not obliged to do so.

How many people can fit in one car?
The transfer options are priced according to the number of passengers. A
saloon sized car is used for 1-2 passengers and a larger car with more room
and luggage space is used for 3-4 passengers. If there are more than 4 passengers
then we would recommend a minibus/people carrier vehicle which can carry
6 people. Alternatively, you can book more than one car, though the people
carrier vehicle option is the cheapest option for 6 people.
How much luggage can fit in a vehicle?
The price options take into account the number of passengers and a reasonable
amount of luggage - please see question above. If you feel that you have
an unusually large amount of luggage, please select a larger vehicle.
Can I book more than one car?
Yes of course, you can book any combination and any amount of cars or minibuses.

What happens if my flight is delayed?
Do not worry as this is not a problem. Your driver will keep a check on
flight times. He will see from your flight number, and information obtained
from the airport if your flight has been delayed. Your driver will arrive
at the airport in time for when you arrive. This is the case regardless
of how late your flight may be.
Will I be charged extra cost if my flight is delayed?
Absolutely NOT! Your driver will keep a check on the flight and will arrive
at the airport in time for your arrival. You will not be kept waiting and
your driver will not be inconvenienced in any way.

Will my driver know where my hotel is located?
Your driver will know before you are picked up exactly where you are going
to.
What happens if I wish to be taken elsewhere before going to the hotel?
You may arrange this directly with your driver. If you wish to be simply
dropped off somewhere in Central Sofia, there will usually be no extra
charge for this. However, if you want your driver to take you to one destination
and then a second destination, you will be charged extra at the local rate.

When will I receive my confirmation email to confirm my booking?
This will usually be sent to you within 3 hours if you have made your booking
between Monday - Friday: 8am - 7pm (GMT) / Saturday: 8am - 12pm (GMT). If
you book at any other time, you confirmation email will be sent to you the
following morning. Of course, last minute transfer requests are treated
as a priority.
How do I contact you by phone in emergencies?
This is not a problem, you may phone www.sofia-hotels.info directly at the number
in the 'contact us' section on our homepage. Also, you will be given 2 numbers
in your confirmation email which you can use.

Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, of course you can cancel your booking within 1 day of your arrival.
You can do this by telephone (see above) or by fax or email.

Is our car service insured?
Yes absolutely, all cars and drivers are insured comprehensively to transfer
passengers.
Are drivers tested for proficiency and knowledge?
Yes all drivers undergo a test to asses their ability and their knowledge
of the street plan of Sofia.
Is it safe for me to submit my personal details using the booking form?
The booking form is hosted on our secure server using SSL (Secure Socket
Layer) technology therefore your personal details are safely encrypted as
they travel over the Internet. They are received by us in a secure manner
and only disclosed to our business partners, Executive Airports Ltd by fax.
